CABLETECH's Self-Sustained Dielectric Optical Cables have optical fibers grouped and protected into basic units with gel (loose tube), making them an excellent option for building your distribution network or backbone, which can consist of up to 144 single-mode optical fibers. It has excellent tensile strength, due to the central support element and the aramid wires strung around the dry optical core, it also has a ripcord. The AS cable is externally coated with thermoplastic material, weather resistant and with protection against UV rays. Its composition makes it suitable for rural and urban environments for spans of 80 meters, without the use of riggings.
